Since we're a small group and just starting out, why don't we all introduce ourselves? So that we can help each other, please include the questions below in your intro:
1) How long you've been involved in immersion education
2) One success you've had in the classroom or program
3) One area/issue that you are struggling with
I'll start!
My name is Megan Conley and I attended a Chinese immersion program from the age of 3. I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn Chinese at such a young age. I am partial to immersion students can achieve much higher proficiency levels. I am not a classroom teacher but I have observed many immersion classrooms and found that many teacher struggle to communicate meaning and conduct assessment in target language.
