Pros: - Accessible and user

4

Pros:

- Accessible and user friendly. Includes a companion website with listening comprehension and simple reading comprehension exercises.

- Useful, relevant vocabulary which is more geared towards American students

Cons:

- Workbook is limited/few practice exercises. Grammar and character workbook are combined, with some character sheets in the back of the book. Not all the lesson characters are included.

- The series only has two volumes; however, volume 1 (which comes in two parts) can be easily used for two years of high school Chinese.
