Perfect for any elementary school. I reccomend this book for anyone that wants their kids to have a career when they grow up. As a parent and college student, I find the policy of teaching exclusively european languages to be a sad commentary on our educational system. (Spain is in Europe BTW) Chinese language is easier than one would expect, don't be afraid.
And will this make them some kind of university Alumni? Because if it is like that, then I think I am interested in it too. I always wanted to learn Chinese because I am huge fan of their culture.
Chinese Paradise is a fun series perfect for the lower elementary school classrooms. The format of the students books and workbooks is short books, encouraging young students without appearing daunting. Unlike many textbooks published in China, there is a multicultural cast of characters in the book, and the material is lively and fun. The series prepares young learners for further Chinese study; at the end of the series, students will know 50 characters, about 300 words, and be able to say some basic phrases. The series also has accompanying flashcards, which have pictures, with Pinyin and English underneath. It would be a good introductory series in a K-12 program, proceeding Chinese Made Easy for Kids

经过两个星期的课堂实践,我发现这套教材内容主要以生活会话为主,虽然贴近美国孩子的生活,但有些简单。对于沉浸制教育的学生来说,难度太低。我认为用它来做听说方面的补充教材比较合适
