This is a simple mixer activity that can be used at any level of a Chinese classroom. I have provided an example I used with my Upper School Chiense students with an English translation, as well as a blank form that teachers can adapt to their own classes. To conduct this activity, pass out a competed "Bingo Grid" to each student, and ask students to mix about the classroom, interviewing classmates about the topics on their form (e.g., "Do you like chocolate?" "Have you been to China before?"). If the classmate's answer fulfills the question, the student may write his/her name in the space. Students should be encouraged to interview as many classmates as possible in order to fill out the form. Once a student has competed the form, they should yell out "Bingo!/宾果!" Teachers can adapt this form to use vocabulary or content that is appropriate for their students. |

This is really interesting.
This is really interesting. I'd like to try it next time to enhance my students' communicative skills and also practice vocabulary and content they've learned from the class. Thank you so much for your sharing!!
Glad you like it. It's a fun
Glad you like it. It's a fun mixer activity, and my kids really enjoy it when we do it, usually 3-4 times a year. It works well for Fridays or days before breaks when everyone is tired and the students need an "energy boost"!
This is a very good
This is a very good in-classroom activity! I can change the content based on what the students learned to the bingo forms. No doubt it will be good for them to practice 问句。
Thank you adamross for sharing this.
