Chinese I and II are offered; Special Requirement: Students must enroll in both Chinese I and Chinese II in the same school year.
Chinese I
Course Length: Two quarters
Prerequisite: A grade of B in current English class (excluding Pre-Composition.)
Chinese I will be an introduction to understanding, speaking, reading, and writing the Chinese language. Stduents will also study the Chinese culture. Students interested in the Chinese exchange program must be enrolled in the Chinese language classes.
Open to grades 9, 10, 11, 12
Chinese II
Course Length: Two quarters
Prerequisite: A grade of B in current English class (excluding Pre-Composition.)
Chinese II will continue concepts learned in Chinese I. Students interested in the Chinese exchange program must be enrolled in the Chinese language classes.
