I saw a post on The Mandarin Center facebook today:
Chinese class at Cedarlane Middle School in Hacienda Heights (CA) generates controversy in the community over who is supplying materials to the class. However, the students who are learning Chinese said they don't see what's the big deal. They like the class.
The article says that the Confucius Classroom program is using the learning materials from the Chinese government and some people see it as indoctrination.
I am agree with the students. It is all about how to teach and what to teach, not about who providing the materials. What do you think?
