Designed for children aged 2 to 8 years old, the Adventures of Max and Mei is a bilingual series in English and Mandarin to introduce the Chinese Zodiac animals to young children.
Each book uses the Zodiac signs as a central theme. They highlight the Zodiac animal temperament and focus on core Chinese representation and common illustrations.
Kids learn about Chinese culture fundamentals like traditional places: the Great Wall of China, Monkey Mountain, the wet market and cultural festivals: Chinese New Year, the Mid-Autumn Festivals and the importance of the Moon in Chinese imaginary.
